The Finite Writing program includes:
Deep analysis and teaching of TDEC, common academic vocabulary for writing;
Protocols for students to learn isolated skills through processes that get results quickly; and
Building student confidence through methods that help them to see their areas of growth and then work to produce solid, measurable improvements in their writing.

T = Thesis (color-coded pink) is a category of thought element that communicates a TRUTH in need of evidentiary support.
D = Detail (color-coded green) is a category of thought element that communicates a FACTUAL piece of evidence that supplies logos and supports the Thesis. It is in need of further factual support.
E = Elaboration (color-coded blue) is a category of thought element that communicates a FACTS about THE FACT (Detail) to help establish ethos (credibility) and help orient the reader to the relevance of the Detail that was offered as support.
C = Commentary (color-coded orange) is an insightful OPINION that provides pathos and is meant to sway the listener or reader with insights that communicate relevancy of the point being made.
